Coffee has been planted in the Fraijanes Plateau since at least 1825. Established at the end of the 18th century, Finca San Victor was purchased in 1989 by Raul Molina and it is now managed by his son Alejandro.

Located in the central uplands of Guatemala, the geographic reference points are Lake Amatitlan and the east side of the Pacaya Volcano. Thanks to the regular eruptions from Papaya Volcano, the soils are rich in potassium, an important element in the body of the cup, and sandy loam which facilitates the absorption of the nutrients.

We have loved used the Guatemalan single-origin for our various retreats and events as of late! It rides the line between a light and medium roast, and has been our favourite coffee to use for cold brew. It is bright and lively but also has a pleasing, smooth texture.
