The Kari Bag

We have designed and made this beautiful bag in honor of our friend, Kari Jobe. This shoulder bag is made with our Carmel vegetable tanned leather from Italy. It is luxuriously lined with our blush leather. The shape of this bag is rounded on the corners and gives enough space for you to carry your everyday essentials. It has an inside and outside pocket ready to catch and hold your keys, phone or cards. The strap to this bag is adjustable and can be worn on your shoulder or across your body. It has a turn lock closure that is antique brass to secure your bag from opening. 

This leather develops a dark patina over time; especially in the areas it comes into contact with your hands the most or places it is exposed to the sun. Please note that the leather will change over time especially where any liquid comes into contact with it. This happens because it is a vegetable tanned leather that has not been chemically treated.

Weaver Leather Vegetable Tanned: This leather was sourced from Weaver Leather from a tannery in Tuscany, Italy. This specific tannery is certified by the “Genuine Italian Vegetable Tanned Leather Consortium,” a non-profit organization that holds member tanneries to the highest quality and production standards, and safeguards the centuries-old practice of vegetable tanning. 

Tandy Leather: This blush vegetable tanned leather was sourced from Tandy Leather out of Raleigh, NC.
